In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Moshi and driven to Arusha National Park, nestled at the foot of Mount Meru. Known for its remarkable diversity of flora and fauna, the park never fails to impress—so much so that it served as the filming location for the Hollywood movie Hatari, starring Hardy Kruger and the iconic John Wayne. Your walking safari will include a visit to the scenic Ngurdoto Crater. Throughout the year, visitors can spot buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, baboons, and a wide range of bird species. At Momella Gate, you’ll meet an armed ranger who will guide your walking safari, offering a chance to see wildlife up close in a safe and thrilling way. Lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic picnic site before you continue your afternoon trek through the park.
