Karatu or Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
We will depart from Karatu or Mto wa Mbu early in the morning and head toward Serengeti National Park, passing along the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater where wildlife sightings are common. The journey reveals vast golden savannahs and endless plains filled with zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes, showcasing why the Serengeti is celebrated as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. Lunch will be a picnic at Naabai Kopje, a rocky outcrop in the plains, where you may spot the Serengeti’s unique pink-headed lizards. Afterward, we’ll continue with a relaxed game drive across the plains before settling in for an overnight stay in the Serengeti.

On Day 3, we set off early from your camp or lodge, heading toward the legendary Ngorongoro Crater. Descending into its vast, wildlife-filled floor, we marveled at lions, elephants, and rhinos roaming freely. After a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery, we continued exploring, capturing every moment. As the sun began to dip, we climbed back up and returned to Karatu, Mto wa Mbu or Arusha, our hearts full of memories from a day of unforgettable adventure.
