On the final day of our tour (we know—you’ll wish it lasted longer too!), we’ll explore the breathtaking Lake Manyara National Park. After an early breakfast, we set out on a morning game drive, giving us the best chance to spot the famous “Big Five.” Tucked beneath the towering cliffs of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park boasts a stunning variety of landscapes, from golden savannah and lush riversides to dense shrubbery. We’ll pause for a picnic lunch in the heart of this incredible wilderness before continuing to discover the rich ecosystem supported by Soda Lake and its surrounding plains. With over 400 bird species—many of them migratory—Lake Manyara is a haven for bird lovers. The park is also known for its unique tree-climbing lions and is home to elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, and graceful antelopes. Later in the afternoon, we’ll depart Manyara and return to Arusha, passing scenic Maasai bomas, ancient baobab trees, and sweeping savannah landscapes, where our safari adventure concludes.
