Upon reaching Stella Point, you’ll witness a stunning sunrise before continuing with a final snowy push to Uhuru Peak—Africa’s highest point. After celebrations, photos, and a sense of triumph, the descent begins. A break at Kibo Hut offers a brief rest and lunch before the journey continues to Horombo Huts. Trekking poles and gaiters are recommended for navigating the loose gravel. At Horombo, a well-deserved rest and your wash tents await, giving you a chance to refresh before dinner and your final night on the mountain.
