After breakfast, you’ll meet with your driver-guide and set off for the Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch at the lodge. In the late afternoon, enjoy game viewing and bird watching. Lake Nakuru, a shallow soda lake, is famed for its large flamingo population and serves as a rhino sanctuary. Your game drive will include a walk along the lakeshore for close-up views of the flamingos. Keep an eye out for the park's elusive leopards and unique tree-climbing lions too. After an afternoon game drive, you’ll return to your lodge as the sun sets for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha is a bird-watcher’s paradise, surrounded by papyrus stands and home to a rich variety of waterbirds. With over 400 bird species recorded, visitors can expect to see fish eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, lily-trotters, red-knobbed coots, and black crakes. The lake also supports around 500 resident hippos and is stocked with sport fish, such as Nile perch and the North American red swamp crayfish, amidst various aquatic plants.
