Zanzibar to Arusha
Your journey starts with you're arrival in Arusha from Zanzibar, where a private transfer will take you to you're lodge in Arusha Hotel. After check-in and rest, you're safari guide will give you a briefing. The next morning, you're driver guide will meet you in the lobby to begin you're safari adventure in Tanzania. Arusha - South Serengeti National Park (Ndutu Area)
The migration safari begins early in the morning, with pick-up from your hotel in Arusha and a 5.5-hour drive to the Ndutu region. Along the way, you'll pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA), where the landscape transitions from hilly forests to plains and grasslands. Once at Ndutu, you'll enjoy a half-day game drive with a picnic lunch, exploring the sweeping grasslands that gradually merge into the Serengeti. Ndutu is a key part of the Great Migration route, home to over 2 million wildebeests, zebras, antelope, and gazelles, especially between December, January, February, March and April. During this time, the plains become calving grounds, attracting predators. With Ndutu Lake and Lake Masek providing waterholes, wildlife is abundant, particularly during the dry season. The game drive ends around 5 PM, and you’ll head to your accommodation for a freshly prepared dinner and rest for the next adventure.

Stunned by the previous day's migration sighting, today you'll get another chance to witness the spectacular wildlife. The Ndutu region, part of both Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA), offers a full-day game drive, following the migration depending on its location. Between December, January, February, March and April, you'll see the fertile plains turn into calving grounds, where the great migration occurs, attracting predators hunting young wildebeest. Watching the circle of life unfold will be an unforgettable experience. The action-packed game drive will end around 5 PM, after which you'll head to your accommodation for a freshly prepared dinner and rest, preparing for another exciting day.

Full Day Game Drive Safari in Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive in Serengeti, following the Great Wildebeests Migration trails. Your experienced guide will share fascinating facts about this renowned event, which makes Tanzania a top safari destination. Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to around 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles that join the wildebeests in their trek for fresh grazing. You’ll hear the exotic sounds of over six million hooves pounding the open plains, bringing the Africa you imagined to life. If you choose the hot air balloon ride, it will be an additional cost of $650 per person. The day will end with an overnight stay at your lodge.

Central Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today, by 9 AM you will head out for a short game drive in the Serengeti after a good breakfast. After completing a half-day game drive along with a picnic lunch, we will branch out and head towards the Ngorongoro crater rim. The 75-km drive to Ngorongoro Crater rim will take about 2.5 hrs, with mild game action to see on the way. The crater is one of Africa’s impressive geological attractions and supreme mecca of wilderness. The day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good rest in your choice of accommodation. Get a good rest and refuel yourself, for the following day you will descend into the massive crater.

Ngorongoro Crater then back to Arusha
On the last day of your safari, you'll have an early start with a quick breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will reveal plenty of animal action, including elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. After a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, you'll ascend to the crater's top exit and begin the 4-hour drive back to Arusha. By 6 PM, you’ll be dropped off at your preferred location in Arusha.
