The morning will be spent on a relaxed game drive, followed by a picnic lunch beside a hippo-filled pond, where we can enjoy our snacks while watching these massive creatures splash and play. Ngorongoro Crater is a natural wonder, formed millions of years ago when a towering volcano erupted and collapsed, creating an intact caldera unlike any other in the world. Its steep walls provide a unique sanctuary where countless species thrive. Visitors can expect to encounter zebra, wildebeest, hippos, and playful hyenas, along with flocks of elegant flamingos resting at Soda Lake. Overhead, vultures and hawks soar in search of carrion, while storks, ibis, and cranes gather along the water’s edge. After lunch, our game drive will conclude, and we will continue our journey to Mto wa Mbu.
