Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will depart from Arusha in the morning and travel to the Tarangire National Park where you can marvel at the colossal termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. The picturesque scenery and diverse bird life assist in creating the tranquil ambiance of the Tarangire National Park. The great elephant population is an extremely remarkable sight. African elephants are the largest land mammal and adult males can weigh as much as seven tonnes. Tarangire’s varied wildlife includes lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongoose, buffaloes, and baboons. When your game drive comes to an end, we will take you to Lake Manyara (Mto wa Mbu) where you will get dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara (Mto Wa Mbu) - South Serengeti National Park (Ndutu Area)

The Migration Safari begins early on the first day with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha for a 5.5-hour drive to the Ndutu region, covering 260 km. After two hours, you’ll enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the landscape transitions from hilly forests to expansive grasslands. Upon reaching Ndutu, you’ll embark on a half-day game drive with a break for a picnic lunch. This area is part of the annual migration route of over 2 million wildebeests and other wildlife, with the calving season (December, January, February, March to April) offering prime viewing of predators. Ndutu’s waterholes, like Ndutu Lake and Lake Masek, attract wildlife during the dry season. The thrilling game drive concludes by 5 PM, followed by a restful evening at your accommodation with a freshly prepared dinner.

After witnessing the migration the previous day, today offers another chance to experience the stunning wildlife spectacle in the Ndutu region, which is part of the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Following a hearty breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive, tracking the migration's movement between the NCA and Serengeti. Between December, January, February, March and April, the plains become calving grounds for the wildebeest, drawing numerous predators preying on vulnerable young. This thrilling encounter with nature’s circle of life promises to be unforgettable. The day wraps up around 5 PM, followed by a delicious dinner at your chosen accommodation, where you can relax and recharge for another exciting adventure.

South Serengeti National Park (Ndutu) to Central Serengeti National Park

Today promises an exciting adventure as you journey into the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, known for its vast, endless grasslands. After a hearty breakfast, you'll head towards the park, where the stunning views of the plains stretching to the horizon will take your breath away. With an area covering 14,763 sq km, the Serengeti is home to Africa's "Big 5" (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard) and the graceful impala. The park also features the remarkable Serengeti "Kopjes," massive granite boulders surrounded by grass, offering shelter to diverse wildlife. A picnic lunch during your game drive adds to the day's adventure, and the evening ends with a delicious dinner and restful night at your accommodation.

Full Day Game Drive Safari in Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will set off on a full day game drive in the wilderness following the Great Wildebeests Migration trails. Our experienced driver tour guide will provide you with interesting facts about this highly renowned event, which makes Tanzania the top safari destination in Africa. Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site, is home to around 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles, which join in the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Listen to the exotic sounds of over six million hooves pounding the open plains. This is just like you imagined Africa to be. Overnight at your lodge.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Today, by 9AM in the morning you will head out for a short game drive in the Serengeti National Park after a good breakfast. After completing a half day game drive along with a picnic lunch, we will branch out and head towards the Ngorongoro crater rim. The 75-km drive to Ngorongoro Crater rim will take about 2.5 hrs, with mild game action to see on the way. The crater is one of Africa’s impressive geological attraction and supreme mecca of wilderness. The day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good rest in your choice of accommodation. Get a good rest and refuel yourself, for the following day you will descend into the massive crater.

Ngorongoro Crater then back to Arusha

On the final day of your safari, you’ll start early with a quick breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera. The crater spans 260 square kilometers and drops over 2,000 feet deep, offering an exciting 5-hour game drive filled with wildlife sightings, including elephants, buffalo, rhinos, hippos, cheetahs, and lions. After a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool, you’ll ascend the steep crater walls and head towards Arusha. A 4-hour drive later, you'll arrive in Arusha by 6 PM. Here, you'll part ways with your team and rest overnight at your chosen hotel.
